Notice of Affiliation Fee

Notice was given in our AGM Booklet that Nenagh Credit Union will be deducting the Affiliation fee from the member’s account for all members (excluding juveniles) as at 30th September 2025. The affiliation fee will be €2.00. The affiliation fee will be deducted on the 21st January 2026.

Rule 109 (6) states that on or before the 31st day of January in each year during the time the credit union is a member of the Irish League of Credit Unions each person who was a member on 30th September of the preceding year shall pay an annual League affiliation fee. The
affiliation fee may be deducted by the credit union from the share account of the member and shall forthwith be paid to the League to assist in its functioning.

What is the Affiliation Fee?

The affiliation fee is a fee payable by all affiliated credit unions to the Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU) annually. This fee is €2 per eligible member for Nenagh Credit Union.

What is the ILCU?

The ILCU is the largest credit union representative body in Ireland. It provides Trade & Representation Association, Business Support Service, Supervisory Activities and Movement Wide ICT (Information Communication Technology) Services to affiliated credit unions in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
