At Nenagh Credit Union, we are strong advocates for shopping local and supporting local businesses. One of our key goals is to help develop and strengthen the communities within our common bond.
To support local financial needs, we offer a range of loan products, all available on our website. In 2020 alone, we provided over €2 million in loans to the local community, particularly through our Home Improvement Loan. These funds have helped renovate homes, support local tradespeople, and sustain local businesses. Research shows that nearly 50% of what you spend locally stays in the local economy, reinforcing the power of community support.
The past year also reminded us of the value of people helping people—checking in on neighbours, supporting the vulnerable, and standing together as a community.

MABS is the Money Advice Budgeting Service and is the State's money advice service, guiding people through dealing with problem debt over more than twenty years. It is free, confidential and independent.
MABS guides people through problem debt and provides support and guidance on making your money go further.
With over 60 locations nationwide, MABS is available to provide you with the help you need.
The MABS office operate an appointment scheduling system and each service is staffed by experienced Money Advisers and Designated Mortgage Advisers who work with clients experiencing difficulties with a range of personal debts including personal loans, mortgages, credit card debt, catalogue debts, debts to legal moneylenders and hire purchases.
We have a proven track record in helping people get back on their feet. All kinds of people with all kinds of debt, come to MABS.
